Glad to hear you are in the choir (would've been very surprised if you hadn't)...but, a soprano? My surprise is mostly because there always seems to be an abundance of sopranos and a lack of altos, so I assumed you'd be needed there.
Oh, and did we include Palestrina's "Sicut Cervus" in your playlist, or did you add it? Because I'm fairly certain the C-dom choir sang it at the Sunday Mass we were at!
We had our first Schola rehearsal today, and Dr. B told the whole choir the story of V's audition. :) It looks like we have some very nice music on the Christmas program. The concerts will be Fri and Sat Dec 18 and 19, so I think you may be home!!

Wait a minute...am I missing something? Where did you say that you got into choir as a soprano?
Btw, the Schola concert dates are not the 18th and 19th, they are the 12th and 13th....I don't know where the first two dates came from!

Never mind you can disregard my comment about the soprano...found your e-mail.
Guess what!
Cliff just emailed and said that we will be playing the Nutcracker for the Christmas orchestra concert!!!!!
Apparently the harp part is really really hard... so Mary and I are slightly aprehensive :)
Luckily we just learned the cadenza from Waltz of the Flowers...

P.S. I hope you're not too jealous ;)
